Coronavirus (COVID-19) : As stated by the WHO(World Health Organization), Coronavirus has not much fatality rate but it’s easily communicable.
According to WHO: Coronaviruses (CoV) are a large family of viruses that cause illness ranging from the common cold to more severe diseases such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS-CoV) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS-CoV).
Coronaviruses are zoonotic, meaning they are transmitted between animals and people. Detailed investigations found that SARS-CoV was transmitted from civet cats to humans and MERS-CoV from dromedary camels to humans. Several known coronaviruses are circulating in animals that have not yet infected humans.
Symptoms include respiratory symptoms, fever, cough, shortness of breath and breathing difficulties. In more severe cases, the infection can cause pneumonia, severe acute respiratory syndrome, kidney failure, and even death.
Preventions: Regular hand washing, covering mouth and nose when coughing and sneezing, thoroughly cooking meat and eggs. Avoid close contact with anyone showing symptoms of respiratory illness such as coughing and sneezing.
** Masks can be useful for the affected person, so try save the mask for health workers a saying by a great leader of USA i.e Barak Obama)
According to (worldometers) https://www.worldometers.info/ the below cornoavirus death rate is specified.
Coronavirus is being assumed as transmitted from animals to humans due to the raw consumption of their meats. And now the humans are indemnifying by their own lives. If we see the graph towards animal abuse, every year it keeps on increasing. Today, I ponder that what has happened is the mere result of our negligence and inappropriate attitude towards our beautiful nature.I am muffled that on one side some people try to pet the animals and to the other, they will show their brutal nature by abusing them, and now everyone pays for it. Nature has given us every resource but still we malpractice, abuse and exploit it.
Today, it seems that nature had heard their calls and now humans have to suffer for their blunder. It’s not the first time nature has answered us to our negligence. If we see the past there’s still many epidemics and pandemic breaks which resulted in a high fatality rate.
I find it quite interesting when we try to inculcate our kids the moral and ethical values, they hear it well, but once they grow they never participate. Today, while I go to dine out in some of the great restaurants, I can see more of the nonveg meals with different species of animals printed in varieties of flavoured dishes on the menu.
where the scientist assumes the birthplace of the virus is locked down by Chinese government and then I see my market where I currently stay, the dead chickens and fishes hanging on the stalls and the crowd waiting in a queue to avail them. So though we are facing the consequences, we still practice and then we do it the time our family members don’t suffer.
The query comes to my mind, why animal abuse is still running across the countries? At some point, we can see that for some people it’s their daily income to feed their family. But now I ask whose fault is this? Government or the people . To my belief, everyone is responsible for it. We have been habituated to live at ease, rather than participating in and helping nature to revive or share its beauty.
We go to the Church, Temple, Mosque, and other resting places of the GOD, we offer prayers, greetings, and everything, and then the moment later, we leave the place we forget what the holy books of different religion says. Recently the poachers in Kenya killed a female white Giraffe and their baby for their own benefits. The killing of the white giraffe made their number count from 3 to 1 . And now there’s only a male white Giraffe is left .Is that what the humans have to do for living .i.e hunting, preying and abusing them for their own benefits?
Today, still we show our flippant attitude and abusive nature henceforth we suffer again.
I know the competence in each human on this planet, and I perceive that we still have the potential to make our planet a great place to live in. For this, we just need to discern and self participate in the activities which can help us save this wonderful planet, if not let’s get ready to face the dark future of the planet.
