A dying dog in my neighbourhood – Part(1)

Spread the love

We always hear since our childhood as Dog is the man’s best friend. The saying is so true. Dogs showing so much of love and affection, sometimes are left homeless, heartless and uncared. A true incident did happen in my life where a dying dog leaves everyone emotionless and heartless.

To start let’s get into some facts about the people most lovable companion.

The dog species are the genetic divergence from the wolf. With many different breeds on the planet, its domestication, and its development have lead to give the man a very trustful companion. The dog, which we usually see besides us is a member of the genus Canis, which forms part of the wolf-like canids. It was the first species to be domesticated and now have become the only large carnivore which gained the maximum trust and love from mankind. Genetic studies show that dogs are not genetically close to any living wolf. It is believed that their wild ancestors have already been extinct and now their generation is what we see. An extinct Late Pleistocene wolf may have been the ancestor of the dog, with the dog’s similarity to the extant grey wolf being the result of genetic admixture between the two. In 2020, a literature review of canid domestication stated that modern dogs were not descended from the same Canis lineage as modern wolves, and proposes that dogs may be descended from a Pleistocene wolf closer in size to a village dog.

Happy Dog

What a note it was from Rudyard Kipling. A lonely man in the middle of Forest starts worshipping God to send a companion to help him to cross the forest. And then God sent a dog. And then he safely crossed the forest with his new companion i.e the dog.

If you pick up a starving dog and make him prosperous he will not bite you. This is the principal difference between a dog and a man.

The above saying is so true by Mark Twain. And it’s so true and meaningful that it hardly needs any explanation

With the street light glittering on the roadways had made the flies and other insects fascinated towards it.

Meanwhile, me in a try to downright my office work quickly was getting into a state of drowsiness. And then a strange sound I heard. I couldn’t make it out what was that. Still in want to complete my work instantly and without any hiatus, I continued to work without prioritizing the coming strange sound. Again, in no time, those strange sounds were back in my ear and it was very clear than before. I tried to locate its heart and with a figuring distance in my mind, I came out of my room. As I stepped closer to my entrance door I discovered the unpleasant crying sound from a dog coming from very nearby to my dwelling. I was so pained and overwhelmed by the situation that I hastily rushed towards my main gate and asked my father to search the origin for that sound.
